HI all, I own about ten doors in the Kansas City Area. They are being managed by 3 Property managers. My questions for all of you is how do you track your properties:

1) I use Trello to track each of the properties and information such as the below item:

  1. Address, Parcel Number, utility info, mortgage info, property tax info, PM info

2) I use a XL spread sheet to track expenses to date, repair costs, monthly rent

3) I use the BP rental calculator for cash on cash return and NOI

4) I use dropbox to store all my purchase docs, mortgage statements, repair bills etc.

The challenge is the maintenance of the spread sheet everytime I buy properties and to monitor trello for actions that are due etc.

Any suggesting on automation/software to use where i can track all of the information on my properties?

I am working with multiple PM in KCMO.

KC home rentals is a large company that manages over 900 units, while they have not been overly communicative they have responded when i needed and got my home rented.

Nothpoint while pricey has been very communicative to my emails and is managing my rental well.

Hunter properties is a small business and only takes on properties selectively depending on neighborhoods They are currently overseeing my properties in Raytown and are the best. Great service, fantastic communication.I wish they would take all my properties!

Hope this helps!

I am looking at opportunities to buy multifamily properties (6-8 unit properties) in Indiana. I have never purchased multifamily properties before and i am looking for some advise on how to get started in shopping for financing for such properties.

Thanks!
