Question for the Investors here in the Military, or anyone who has a similar situation:

Is anyone here in the military and actively investing?

My concern here isn't time, money, or lack of deals, it's the fact my schedule isn't predictable in any form.

If anyone here actively invests send me a PM so we don't bog down the blog, but want to get some different perspectives and maybe some tips on how to work the lack of a predictable schedule.

Thanks!

Could that be a short-term correction given the current market fluctuation we are seeing? I didn't even look to see what their stocks were doing and who the management was, so i appreciate the feedback!

Zillow announced today it's intent to buy and flip properties in the Vegas and Phoenix markets. What are your thoughts on bigger, brand name movers coming in to an already active market? Obviously, big investors are everywhere throughout the country, but I am curious how some of the more seasoned investors view it

Good Evening,

First off, thank you for taking the time to read this. I am a member of the Armed Forces trying to begin the Real Estate investing journey to ease my transition from military to civilian life. I am an avid fly-fisherman with a guiding business, so my end game here is more passive income through rental properties and quicker deals through wholesaling. I have the time and money to get started now, but I lack the proper guidance. Anyone from the Buffalo, Rochester, or Syracuse markets have any wise words on Wholesaling? What are typical spreads on deals? ARVs on certain locations? I have a ton of general info questions I haven't been able to get clear answers too through books or podcasts. If anyone could give me a quick around the world, I would be more than appreciative. Thanks again!

John
