You need to google slurry or soda blasting. Sand blasting may get you fined. Good luck.

was the $200 for a fiberglass tub shower combo or a standard 5 footer. $200 sounds low for a combo

Depends on comps in the area and what budget you are working with. 3bdr 1ba house may benefit from an extra bath for example. As always paint, landscaping and general cleaning of house and property. dont forget about those nasty bathtubs needing refinishing.

I am a refinisher in Atlanta 20+ years

Miracle Method is ok but franchise pricey. Look for an investor friendly refinisher (not a low baller) your fiberglass unit  should be around $400 per if all four done same day or at same time. Refinishing products we use work well if not better on fiberglass. DIY kits are very likley to peel do to insuffecient surface prep and week or no primer system. You may be sble to buy a tub for the same price as refinishing but no way you can buy, demo, install and repair wall and floor cheaper. Good luck.

Hi, I am a refinisher for 20+ yrs in Atlanta. $575 from Miracle Method is on the high side but they are s franchise and get beat by fees. $175 on the other hand is way to low and can not be done by a redpectible company unless you are refinishing a major rehab 50 or more tubs. $275 to $300 would be a fair investor price. We have alot of these guys popping up in Atl. with the low ball prices and most turn out to be redos.

I have a bathrub refinishing company and work for alot of flippers. A contractor friend of mine that gives us alot of tubs only rehabs housrs for flippers. It is a tight market but if your profits are were they need to be its a no brainer, you keep your guys working and you make a little coin.

I run a bathtub refinishing company in Atlanta. Refinishing here cost arond 250 for a standard tub and will last. Problem is guys using epoxy or other cheap material. Find a good refinisher in your area and get it done by a pro. We refinish investment and hotel property every week. As far as nice areas we refinish tubs for homeowners in 350,000 homes and up. Just my 2cents

Thank you all for the reply. It is refreshing to get honest feed back from experienced investors. I think I will keep my eyes open a little more while working in the Atlanta area.
