Does anybody have a recommendation for a lender or any insight on acquiring a Commercial equity line of credit in Westchester NY. Building is a commercial property owned outright.

Anybody have any experience with home equity investment companies as an alternative to conventional equity lines of credit or cash out refi?

Thanks for the reply, yes I was pre-approved. Seller was given pre approval letter and proof of funds. They accepted my offer over others because of strong finances and ability too close, but now are requesting a loan commitment letter even after contract has been signed and earnest money deposited.

The sellers agent is requesting that I give them my loan commitment letter even after contract has been signed. Any advice or opinions on this?

I have sparked an interest in real estate specifically the investor aspect when it comes to multi family properties. I’m loving all the info on BP. I want to learn more and submerse myself in real estate by possibly becoming a realtor to better network and look for opportunities. Any input would be great! Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply. I plan on living in unit for 1 year then plan on renting unit out after. This is allowed under bylaws of the co-op for a sub-lease fee of $150 a month. Total maintenance/taxes are $703. Building is in very good shape and finances look strong. Thanks again
