My wife and I are sadly divorcing but we're keeping it civil for our kids. We're talking about her renting our house from me. (VA loan that was in my name before we got married.) Is there any legal issues to this if I were to move to an apartment and she starts to rent the house from me?

@Mike M. That's what I I initially wanted to do but with the limited space it's a little difficult.

I currently own a home with a VA loan on it and I'm trying to think of ways to increase the value of the home so I can add equity and sell to start with rental properties. The house is a two bed one bath just under 1,000sqft. The basement isn't finished but that's in the plan. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
