Hello! I am looking for Real Estate meetups in Cleveland Metro. Specifically interested in multi-family rental property investing.

So basically if you are doing an owner-occupied loan, it would be difficult for a lender to use future rental income during the pre-approval process? Especially if it's a single-family residence as opposed to a multi-family?

Are local/community banks and credit unions more willing to do these types of loans?

Can you use future rental income to qualify for House Hacking?

I have talked to a few lenders who say that I cannot count future rental income and it is making it difficult to qualify for a loan based on my income alone.

Any pro tips from current house hackers on this? Thanks!
