I used the taxes posted on Zillow for the figure. It is in a rural/low population area. My tenants are responsible for all utilities at my other rentals in Virginia.

My “bad” debt is stopping me...

We have 2 properties that we rented out because we couldn’t sell after moving. Picking the wrong tenant set us back almost 40k that is covered by credit cards and a family loan.

How do you balance paying off debt and growing the business?

I am located on the Northern Neck in Virginia. Are there any local Investor groups or networking opportunities? Most seem to be in Hampton Roads area and hoping for something closer.
