Hey bp fam!

I have a duplex that's not in the state I live in. What are some strategies to find trustworthy contractors in an out of state market?

Thanks!

Hey BP fam! Me and two other investors/friends are starting a partnership for REI and it would be great to get some feedback. We're thinking it's best to create an LLC as a holding company and then have separate LLCs for each property. For the holding company are there any services you recommend? And for the holding company does it matter what state we form it in? I came across zenfile and some others but would love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks!

Quote from @Aubrey Brendle:

WNC without a doubt is an amazing str market.  Asheville's economy is heavily driven by tourism but the city itself does not allow for short term rentals to be established which provides an opportunity for the surrounding mountain towns to become prime str areas.  I'd be happy to chat with you about our market anytime you'd like!

 Western Nevada College?

@Joshua Young appreciate the insight! Good occupancy rate but I'll try to refine my search to Old Town and Nob Hill

Hey everyone,

Looking to invest in an STR in Albuquerque. In short, I moonlight as an actor and a lot of the productions in NM now need a local address to work on set. Figure I should just buy a house and airbnb it until I actually need to use it.

Any Insight on how the STR market is particularly in Uptown?

 Thanks in advance!
