Amit M. No, not interested in laundrymats. My partner just purchased an entire franchise operation which includes 17 existing car washes in the southeastern US.
We are endeavoring to expand Nationwide and are in acquisition mode searching for suitable locations.
These locations can be existing car washes that are for sale and possibly even for lease under certain circumstances.
We will even consider existing commercial properties be they already developed or not as long as they are potentially car wash friendly for immediate development.
What I'm looking for with resptect to this question is basically what one should look for whence searcing for locations for these types of properties.
So as you can see laundry mats are not on our radar. But thanks for the thought. I'm sure there are lots of great opportunities for laundry mats.

I really appreciate your feedback but here is a little more about our particular model and there have already been 17 very successful locations established throughout the Southeastern US during the past 11 years so we know it's a proven and successful model.
We're just expanding the franchise Nationwide and are seeking any advice, information and knowledge from knowledgablre BP members. So far I've received some very good advice and I really appreciate it. Here are some of the features that may address some of your concerns.
- Flat three minutes or less.
- we accept cash, all major credit and debit cards and Zips gift cards.
- Soft-cloth system safe for vehicle.
- Multiple convenient locations,
- Unlimited Wash Club and save even more every month!
- Use only the best eco-friendly chemicals that won’t harm our environment.
- Recycle system allows reduction of the amount of energy and water use that occurs during each wash.
- Green kind of clean.
- Express Tunnel Car Washing has evolved into the most common and sought-after method of car washing for today’s busy consumer.
- Technological advancements have provided the controls necessary to operate at a higher level providing customers with a quality car wash—fast.
- Saving the best for last our system only requires 4 employees one of which is the manager. All will be legal and documented.

BTW, I'm by no means a seasoned pro when it comes to CW's I'm a RE Broker and General Contractor and will be basically looking for viable properties and locations to acquire and then build out or convert into our model.

Amit, No, I'm actually all in on CW's. My partner just acquired an entire franchise operation in the Southeast (17 operating and profitable CW's). We're looking to expand Natiowide in the next 5 to 10 years but will be targeting San Diego, Orange County, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties for efficient management logistics for the next 2 to 3 years until we have a number of them up and running successfully.

I'm relatively new to the BP platform but I've already been asked a lot of questions about the different aspects of the MH industry so I thought I'd share a 4 part series of posts I wrote on a real estate blog I contribute to. Hope this helps those who have had issues like the ones described in this post.

That also covers pre fab, panelized and kit built homes and yes there often is a great deal of complexity clarifying the two.

I think I might start re-blogging some of my FBH related posts on the BP platform as I'm beginning to realize there are a lot of folks seeking and or giving information and sharing their knowledge about the subject.
We've been in the game for 3 decades and have worn just about worn hat there is with the exception of actually owning a MHP which we are now exploring. I'd be happy to help out in any way I can. This is a great platform and since Trulia was absorbed by Zillow and disc'd their blogging and Q/A forums.
