In Los Angeles what would it cost to build a house on a hillside? What would the land need to be cleared for, to build on it? Zoning is key I'm sure, but anything else to look for?

Does anyone know someone that is experienced in buying land &/or building in Los Angeles County? I'm interested in buying land and building a house.

Thanks Brandon for the advice. The Cap rate wasn't the only factor I took into consideration, but it was the things that made me not want to look any further into this property.

Thanks for the advice, I'll keep looking in other markets.

Multifamily triplex selling price 1.2M, Monthly Rent for all 3 units 4,050. I got a cap rate of 3 (C Building) is this correct or am I doing something wrong?

Hello, I’m new to BP and I’ve been trying to catch up on the podcast and other information. What’s up with Dancing with the Stars reference? I actually work on that show and I find it funny that it keep getting brought up, but I’m not getting the reference. Is that what people do when they retire they watch DWTS? Well if anyone is actually a fan and they want to watch it live and doesn’t mind me picking their brain about real estate contact me.
