Looking for a referral for a realtor who is also an investor who is familiar with the north Dallas area. Currently living in Frisco and considering single family or small multi family rental properties in North Dallas.

Primarily looking for a prequal on a loan of 100-150k, 30yr fixed for my first rental.

Would like to get prequalified before making any offers on my first rental and finding most local lenders insist on the commercial route vs Fannie Mae. Looking for referrals in the DFW Texas area that would offer Fannie Mae. Any tips would be appreciated.

I found the podcasts early on and have listened to them daily.  Great information!

Hello everyone!

My name is Joe Wright and I am new to this site and to real estate investing.

I recently moved to Frisco Texas from Mansfield Texas (about 60miles southwest) and have decided to finally begin taking steps to become a real estate investor.  I have always had an interest in real estate, but never got around to taking the plunge.

My goal is to purchase distressed buy and hold properties in the surrounding areas (The Colony, Little Elm, Prosper) and possibly as far as Florida (lets see if anyone talks me out of remote ownership).  While acquiring rentals I might consider flipping to build capital.

I have only been on this site for a few days and can already tell it will be a great resource for all the questions I have.  Looking forward to getting to know everyone.
