Thank you.

-so...if I paid for more than 5% of my solar panel installation in 2019 but the utility company didnt turn in on until 2020, I can still claim 30% but can not take that credit until 2020 tax filing?

Can anyone refer me to the actual current bill (law) for the residential energy tax credit related to solar panel installation?

(not form 5695 or the related irs instructions) but the actual law. A link would be great.

Thanks!

Can I intentionally push back some of my rental business expenses until next tax year?

The expenses occurred in 2019. Is it possible to delay taking taxing the deduction until the following 2020 tax year?

-Anyone have an estimated cost to finish about 500 sq ft of a basement with a drop ceiling in NJ?  No bathroom or plumbing involved.

-Would it  cost 2x to finish 1000 sq ft instead?

-Where is the best place to seek out contractor quotes for this?

Thanks everyone. I am gonna call more local banks. Please message me if you know of a specific company that can help me.

I have cash bought, LLC owned property.

I wish to keep the property & borrow against it to get a line of credit or a cash out refi.

-Does anyone know of lenders who who will assist me?

The 5 local banks I contacted so far have told me they cant help because the LLC owns the property and they would not allow me to add my personal name to it to guarantee a loan.

-What products can I use? Do I need a commercial line of credit or can I get a loan if I use my personal name to guarantee the LLC loan? Who offers this?

I am looking to obtain information about the feasibility and availability of obtaining a mortgage for only about $40,000.

Most banks are telling me that would not bother to offer the small loan.

I am not interested in alternate HELOC or other sources of financing unless terms are 30 year and interest rate sub 6%.

Thanks!

Install will be a whole new HVAC system with new ducts etc...

I am upgrading from a window air conditioning unit. Does that change anything?
