I'm closing on my first STR in April a 3 Bed/3 Bath property. I'm starting to acquire furnishings and am looking for a checklist of sorts to help keep myself organized as I seek the best deals on high quality goods to furnish our rental. Has anyone used something similar in the past they can recommend or share?

Thanks so much everyone! Really appreciate the help as I start my STR journey.

A follow up, can you link multiple locks together in the Schlage Home app so that if I want to use the same code for say 3 out of 5 locks in the unit, I can do that by setting one "group code" or would I have to enter the same code for all 3 locks independently in the app?  

Anyone used the Airbnb integration with Schlage yet?  Feedback? 

Hi, I'm looking for recommendations on the best e-lock systems to put into my STR. The property is a 3 bed/3 bath and it was engineered to have the ability to lockout the basement 1 bed/1bath studio as a stand-alone unit. I am looking for a lock system that I can update remotely and configure as needed to rent the property as either one full 3/3 unit or two separate units (2/2 & 1/1). Anyone have any recommendations?

Hi, I'm looking to join (or form) an investor mastermind group in Charlotte, NC.  Anyone have one going with room for one more?  I'm a beginner with one rental property and looking to expand my portfolio smartly in 2025.  Hoping to meet a small group 3-6 people that can brainstorm, ask questions, and help hold each other accountable for our goals.  Let me know if you have an existing group or interested in forming one in 2025.

Thanks for the post, looking for a new group as another just shut down.  How long have you been running this group?  

I’m just starting out my real estate investing journey and hoping to build an off the market lead list through lettering some homes I’ve identified in my area. Any advice on what to include as well as keep out of such letters to increase response rates? Thanks!
