I’ve owned the home for about a year now and they just put it in a flood zone 1 month ago. I’m going to shop around for the insurance but I’m still gonna have a surveyor go out there to hopefully have the house taken off.

Hello everyone! 

I just started my real estate investing two years ago and I'm now on my third property. On my third property they just deemed it in a flood zone. Is there anyway I can contest this or do I have to bite the bullet and pay for flood insurance. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
