Eric Michaels good to know, thank you!!

Is this the case even if there's no reserve??? I understand if the properties reserve was not met but can that be the case in the event that there's no reserve?
What protects the seller to be able to back out when the property has been sold at auction? I figured the reserve was the primary protection the seller had at the sale...what else protects the seller?

The auction is going to continue tomorrow (Sunday) but I watched the first half today. Since I'm new to REI I was wondering what the people with more experience thought of the "deals" that were going down today?

I have the list and all the sold prices, so I was going to run them against a site like zillow and see roughly what the properties could be worth. I know zillow is not as good as using the MLS. I don't have access to the MLS to run comps and since I'm a newb this would be the place I would think to go.

What did you think of the auction? Do you bother with auctions like this?

*********** -

Yes, I was there Thursday night. I had a good time, good energy there, and very informative. I'm brand new and doing research on REI and thought it would be a good idea to drop in and see what went on in a REI club event.

It was a last minute decision to show up because I got out of work a little later than I wanted, but glad I showed up nonetheless.

Thank you for having me there!

Joe

Thank you Don Koss , I agree, our state needs an overhaul!!

Steven Hamilton II , meeting up periodically sounds like a great idea! I'd definitely be interested in doing that! Obviously I wouldn't have too much to offer (experience wise) since I'm a newbie, but I will bring a positive, and energetic attitude.

Rob Gillespie I'm brand new and gathering information on this awesome forum and I gotta say it's great to hear someone put it the way you just did. I wish more people posted more "point blank" like you did. Very refreshing!

Lokesh W. from the short time I've been here on this forum I can say I'm glad I didn't waste my time or money on Peter Conti's system. This forum seems to have all the answers you can possibly need as long as you're willing to look for it. The people here are a great help too!

Kevin Kachin that's great! Which type of investing are you doing? Are you in the city or in the suburbs? Feel free to message me.

James Vermillion I agree with you. I know it's not going to be a cake-walk, but I'm willing to learn from the pros and work hard at it. I'm excited to learn about something new! Thank you for the welcome!
