@Zachary Ray thanks ! When you mention insurance you are just referring to home insurance ? Or is there some other form of insurance I am unaware of ?

@Alex Polyanskiy Ok thanks. Yea I am not the owner and so my expenses would be zero and it would all just be profit and cash flow. I will find some financial help on that. I have a couple people in mind I can talk to.

@Don Gilbreath I like that thanks! That kinda slipped my mind to try Air BNB

@Daniel Haberkost yea I would agree I probably am over thinking it! But you have been very helpful and calmed my nerves a bit. Thanks! Is there anything specific you think a first timer person might forget in a solid/agreement ? I know I want to outline expectations and payment very clearly and screen them very carefully but maybe there is more?

@Julio Garcia do I need to do anything about my taxes ? Do I need to set up like any kind of DBA or business anything ? Thanks again for the help!

@Daniel Haberkost I appreciate that so much!

Is it literally as easy as just getting them to pay me via cash, check, or Google pay etc. I guess I just feel like I'm missing something or not thinking of something like "legal" I don't know if that makes sense to you what I'm saying. Is it really that straightforward though?

@Julio Garcia thank you so much! I will work on getting one written up and then get them under a contract/lease

I am about to take a new job in a new city and as part of my compensation they are providing me with housing of a 2 bedroom apt. They also told me that I could rent out the other room if I wanted to. This is my first time doing anything like this. What steps do I need to take to have a successful time with it ?

Post: Cost effective Paint

I currently work for a painting contractor, we do mostly commercial painting and not residential, but I will say if you know painters and they have accounts at certain places, don't be afraid to ask if you can buy the paint through them and just pay them back. We have people do that with us. You can get it at a serious discount and it is just more paint they are purchasing and helps their sales rep. This is also my first post in here and I am looking for a 4 plex my self now as well. I am so excited I hope my idea can help you find some quality paint at a lower cost for you!
