@Jessica Braker hi Jessica, I’m doing the same thing and living in PA. Any tips? So far, I’ve passed my NJ exam. Hoping I can find a broker close to home (havertown) but also have an office in jersey that I can use periodically. That said, also trying to avoid 2x all of the fees. Let me know! Thanks!

Question for the Philly area agents. I live in PA and shooting to get my licenses in PA and Jersey. Multiple sources had assured me the best way to do it was NI first. That said, I just completed my pre exam classes and passed my nj state exam.

Ideally, I would be associated with a broker close to my house in PA but would also have access to an office in NJ for times when I need NJ clients to come in for paperwork. Any best practices on how to set this up? Also, I’m believe I need my NJ license hung before I can take pa, correct?

Thanks for the help, guys. Hope to start connecting w you all more often once I’m up and running.

-Joe

@Bill Capper hey Bill, I’m in your same position and would be cool to pick your brain on how you went about getting NJ and PA. Goal would be to cover both but have my main office in PA. But it feels like I may need to hang my license in NJ first.

@Scott Foster hi Scott, I’m trying for the same and also located in PA. Wondering if I need to hang my license in jersey first then get my pa license? Guessing I’d rather have my main office in pa.

Post: Reco for “on-demand” NJ real estate classes?

Hey all! First post on here!

Looking to take my pre exam real estate classes as I prep for the test. Looking to get certified in NJ first then PA. Found a cool site (https://mainlineschool.theceshop.com/pennsylvania/real-estate-exam-prep/pa-salesperson-exam-prep-cost) that has on demand, pre recorded classes and lots of resources but it is only for PA. Everything I have found online for NJ is more virtual live classes that run 9am-5pm. I dig the idea of having it on demand so I control when I attend the classes, take breaks, etc and also have the ability to rewind or rewatch lessons. Anyone know of something like that for NJ? Thanks!
