@Randy Wallis Yes, I'm still interested in tips about how we, as holders of a percentage of a DST, report the DST financials to the IRS. Do we just put it on a Sched E as for any Real Estate property we own?

Mike: what group did you use to purchase your DST's? Do we have to file income tax returns in each state (that has an income tax) in which one or more DST owns property?

"I have asked the attorney to collect judgment on a contingency basis."

How has that worked?

Hi! My name is Joe Budelis and I'm a long time holder of residential rental properties. Currently, I hold rentals in Asbury Park and Blawenburg.

Shortly, I'm having a sheriff remove a tenant for non-payment of rent. I'm interested in what others have found to be the best approach(es) for improving the chances of collecting back rent. I plan to get a judgement for the amount owed. In the past, I've found that getting a judgement is sometimes enough cause some tenants find they need to clear judgements off their records in order to accomplish one or more goals. Is there some other action that others have found to have a good success rate?
