Post: Anyone every deal with mold intolerance?

Hey Y'all! I'm a broker/investor in Alabama with a unique situation. I'm representing the sweetest family (moving here from Baton Rouge) and the wife has a mold intolerance. Every property that they've offered on has to be subject to a mold test. Her doctor wants these levels to be at or below a "2" and so far we've had levels at or above 10. These are newer properties without obvious water intrusion, etc. We're feeling very discouraged and I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and may know of a solution. It's hard to remediate something that you can't even see. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Y'all! I'm in North Alabama (Gadsden) and would love to join an REI meet-up. Do y'all know of anything? Birmingham? Huntsville?

Be careful not to get bogged down in your first deal. Seems like there are a lot of serious (and expensive) issues. Not to mention the old "can of worms" saying. You've already done more than so many people by pulling the trigger so give yourself tons of credit for that! The right deal will come along. Hang in there!

Traction by Gino Wickman. My business partner gave it to me in October of last year and it ignited an inferno inside of me. It also made me realize that I was miserable, so in January I sold out of the Residential Real Estate Firm and went full time with investing! You could say the gift back fired on my partner but it changed my life for the better!
