Welcome Michael,
My knowlege isn't great, and I haven't personally closed any deals, but I have been an unintentional landlord for about 5 years now in the Franklin, NC area. I currently reside in Norcross, GA. Im always willing to learn more, and try to contribute, if possible.

Believe it or not Marie, you just enlightened me to what is was referring to without me having to do any research. Once you mentioned the appraiser, the lightbulb, that never comes on above my head, made a rare appearance. :)

Again, that is just 1 year but they are held at a lower number when they start to increase. This pays dividends every year.

I am fairly new at this, can someone send me a PM explaining, in detail, exactly what appealing tax values means?

its .68 acres of land, unfortunately, its on a slope and the trailer is on the "ideal" build spot. If I were able to purchase the vacant lot beside it, and 200 feet or so of the empty pasture at the crest of the hill, then I would have an even better location to build.
Ill have to look and see if I have any pictures of the view on my wife's facebook page.

Would the umbrella insurance be added to the mortgage payment, or would it be something I would have to pay for seperately? I think right now, it is all included with my mortgage.
