Hello @Alvin Taveras it widely depends on the location and demand of the area. The unit I recently purchased will rent for $2,000 - 2,200 mo. and I plan on living in it for 1 year so was able to get the lowest rate as owner occupied (max 2 at a time) so that helped lower my monthly PI payment to achieve more cash flow. Also, given it is close to the airport I can also list it on Airbnb as a fully furnished unit as well at a later date.

Larger multifamily value-add townhouses. Rents were $250+ below market on most units.

Purchased property on Homepath- Fannie Mae REO website through bank owned foreclosure sale.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

Obtain thorough property inspection prior to purchasing. Alot of mold was found in the kitchen walls a few weeks after closing.

Hey Andrew, 

I seen your post and thought maybe I could help you out. I'm originally from the Beckley WV area and also still have several rental properties there. The one that many investors I know from that area use is a company called JJM Property Management. I think they have a FB page and maybe a website. Do you currently have properties in that area now?
