I'm selling a property, everything looked great on paper, got a good offer and then VA appraisal came in much lower. Buyer can't come up with difference, so I'm prepared to walk away but I'm scared about the appraisal being stuck to the property for six months and if VA appraisal can affect future FHA or conventional loans? Will FHA or conventional lenders have access to that appraisal for instance?

Thanks for all the helpful replies. I found out who owns the property (CIT) and which regional office. I called the number listed on their website, but the CSR doesn't even know what an asset manager is or if they have one!? How can I find out who that peron is? Thanks again for the help.

The real estate agent working for the bank won't share that information. We submitted an offer and she never responded. I finally called her and got a hold of her, she said they received a different offer and will be going with that, but the property is still listed on MLS! I don't believe the agent submitted the offer I sent to the bank, how can I find out who the bank is? What options do I have?

Thanks in advance,
Jimmy and Sandy
