New to the site. Huge amount of info to read so thanks to those who contribute. I am an airline pilot for my real job. I am looking at getting into the rental business for the passive income and future portfolio building to add to retirement $ down the road. I feel I have a good grasp on the fundamentals of how things work. Initially I would like to get my foot in the door and feel going with a company like JWB or the sort may be the best start. As far as Jacksonville and the surrounding area, it seems like they are the only game in town. Anyone have any info for any other names to research? I am looking forward to learning from the best here so thanks in advance for the info you all provide. I love to play golf and do about once a week so maybe will play with investors here soon.

I put in a pool at my place and live in a CDD community. We have a nice community pool but nothing beats hoping in and out and you are still at home. Up keep is minimal in my view but depends on ones situation and time. I was against putting it in but family won the battle. I can admit defeat when I was wrong....I was. Glad I did it. Not glad I recommended the pool builder who stole people's $$ and left holes in the ground. Clift and company screwed people and guy got arrested. What a shame, my pool came out great
