@J Scott Mostly made up of wholesalers.  I haven't had much luck there.  

@Stephen Nicholson In some cases I've invested money to form partnerships, where one of the partners brought the financing to the partnership.  In every case, I've spent time researching, pulling comps, visiting properties, getting contractor bids etc., and so far when it has been time for them to follow through on their end they are suddenly hard to get in contact with.  

I'm hoping that I can find a financial backer who is serious about working on a project or a hard money lender with a good reputation.

Hello, 

I'm an investor/realtor in Central Arkansas.  I'm having a hard time finding hard money lenders and/or financial backers for my flips willing to lend in Arkansas.   I'm looking to do business with someone who is serious about lending or backing a project.  I've spent a lot of time and money trying to work with a few individuals who ultimately did not follow through on their end.  Any recommendations?
