@David Lichtenstadter yes I've used that site before. I was just asking if one can verify that these taxes shown there are reasonable by running numbers through the use of mill levy and the assessed property value.

I'm curious if anyone has information or knows how I can calculate property taxes? I wanted to confirm the taxes for properties I am looking into.

@Jonas Delarosa Welcome to the BP community! I think setting up a plan is a great way to start. Definitely keep educating yourself using free resources on BP or similar. 

@Mateusz Kalinowski welcome to the BP community! There's a ton of information on BP that can help you out. Definitely feel free to ask questions on the forums. 

Also, I recommend checking out the Read Beginner’s Guide and then start developing a plan for yourself. I think focusing on a particular niche and strategy is great way to start since there is a lot of information and it can be overwhelming at times.  

@Bradley​ Lobo welcome to BP! I'm actually currently working towards purchasing my first buy and hold property. It is a little tougher to invest in NJ since the property taxes are pretty high, however there are deals out there, it just requires a little more work and patience. 

As you probably already know, the is tons of information on BP. Feel free to ask any questions, the BP community is always willing to assist you in your career in real estate.
