I have a house that i rent by the room. about two months ago one of my roommates left and i had to put a add on craigslist, only in the first two days did i get texted back. but now its been two weeks with no hits, are you guys having the same problem? normally on the first week i will get plenty of hits and by the second or 3rd week i would had some one moving in.

I bought this house for $145k five years ago.now it goes for $230k.I been renting 3 of the bed rooms for that time as well. one of them just left and im using this time to renovate that bathroom and really considering adding one more room and then refinance, what i will really like is just to get most of my money back that i spend on that construction and have enough left over to buy another house.

I'm a small investor in the DFW area i'm in the process of remodeling my bathrooms and considering adding a room with a bathroom in the attic of  or in the garage space. just need to know witch one adds more value to the property so i can refinance at a higher price. thank you all who took the time to reed this and help me out.
