Hi,

I'm Jess and am excited to introduce myself here on BiggerPockets.  I am 25 years old and currently work as a critical care nurse in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  A few months ago, I read Rich Dad Poor Dad (please forgive the cliche) and it completely opened my eyes and changed my perspective on life and making money.  I am very passionate about building a life of financial freedom for myself through real estate, so I can travel more and be very involved in my future family.  I know it will be very hard work, but I'm determined to make it happen and believe I can do it while working my full time job, which is 3 12-hour shifts a week.  I am currently in the education phase/have been saving for my first deal.  I have been reading, listening to podcasts and webinars, and took the UBG Course.  I am most interested in buy and hold and hope to start with some properties that cash flow well and am open to house hacking, if those are possible in my area.  My questions for you are what is the best way to study my market and do you have any other suggestions for starting out?  Thank you for taking the time to read this.  I am looking forward to networking and learning from you!
