Hello BP!

I am an aspiring investor, I work my 7-5:30 every day as a welder all while listening to the bigger pockets podcasts. I have become increasingly more excited about joining the world of real estate. Although I keep talking myself out of starting due to my credit and the risk I would be exposing my family to. I am in somewhat of a unique situation in that I am an owner of a ~$200k residence with no mortgage, currently existing on a $36k a year salary, and a poor credit score. I am currently working on rebuilding my credit but as you can imagine it’s slow going. So I guess I was wondering if any of you had any opinions, experience, or advice you would be willing to impart on a would-be investor. Thank you all in advance!
