Kevin, thanks so much for the insight. We are leaning heavily towards utilizing lumber liquidators for purchase and install. I can do some flooring but sure don't enjoy it! I appreciate it!

Two weeks in and things are coming along nicely.  Pretty much have it stripped down and now we will build it back up.  Just watching that budget closely!  Photo link below if curious:

Hello, we are in the midst of our first flip.  I've been posting a bit about it here: https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/67/topics/620...

Ultimately, we are flipping a double wide trailer that is a bit over 2200 SF.  I've got it stripped down to sub floor and am really intrigued by putting down LVP throughout.  I'm hoping to get some opinions as to the quality any of you fine seasoned real estate investors recommend.  I'm leaning towards the cheaper peel and stick version in an effort to save some budget money, but then again, I don't want to be too cheap.  Any opinions would be greatly appreciated as to what YOU think.  Thanks so much for the time!

Thanks so much for the great information! We are pretty new to REI so I sincerely appreciate your time and advice! My kids are 7 and 3 but where there's a will there's a way!

Gratefully,

Jesse Palmer

Hi Laura, I know this is an older post, but curious as to if you had any luck?  I'm searching for ideas as well as we may be in a very similar situation with that type of "good problem!"  Sounds like you all did it right!

Ok, so we were within 24 hours of closing back in November when we learned the sellers couldn't find the title to the manufactured home. It added nearly two months on getting the title business worked out which included getting a non-interested fire inspector out twice, who was worse than "No show Jones," then learning that the home was still tied to a different piece of land within our county. The old land owner had to be tracked down in FL (thankfully she was still above ground) and an affidavit of severance sent to her. All in all, we finally closed yesterday. Now the fun starts in our very first "non-live in flip!"

Jim, apologies on delay, but I sincerely appreciate it! Looking to close tin our first non-live in flip tomorrow! Excited, but a bit anxious. I intend on taking some time off work for the January meeting. I've been saving a lot of posts as I plot our rehab out on our initial flip. Thanks so much for the support and encouragement.

@Jim Wilcox absolutely! I'll still be working but I'm going to start burning a little time to attend, it'd be great to network in person!

@Jim Wilcox Thank you Jim! I appreciate the information and hope to attend some in the future. Unfortunately I'm a second shifter at my primary job and work all Thursdays. I'm going to have to start burning some vacation to make it happen! Thanks again.
