Currently living in Newmarket area, curious as to others thoughts on the market prices for real estate in this area.

Do you think prices will go down on real estate over the year and be at its lowests price in 2020 then climb back up?

I am looking to get started on acquiring some rental properties in Toronto area, Canada. Within a 70 km radius - but I can’t seem to find houses with the prices like the states. How do you recommend getting started with a rental property with not a lot of money down in this Canadian real estate market?
