Thanks Russ and Julie for the welcoming. There does seem to be a lot of good content on this website and the people here seem very motivated to help each other. I'm probably going to be upgrading my profile soon to have even more access to the website. 

Julie, I agree with Russ that the Bozeman market is very hot right now compared to some other cities that I have looked at in Montana. The construction here has been nonstop for a year or so now, and I'm not sure how much longer prices will keep going up at the rate they are now.  

Russ, I haven't looked much in to the Butte market but I may start and will come to you with questions if I do. Thank you.

My name is Jesse and I'm a new member to BiggerPockets and a newbie in the real estate world. I am starting my journey into the real estate investing world and looking for mentors, partners, or anyone willing to answer some questions to help me work on a successful long-term investing portfolio. My experience in real estate has been limited the purchasing of my own house. I'm very serious about getting started in the Montana market and would be grateful to hear any stories and tips from investors who are already in the market. I would also be happy to work with or for another investor to gain more knowledge. I'm a Montanan who enjoys being outside and with a strong passive income I would be able to make that happen.
