@William Corcoran

Yeah, the tagging is a little wonky. I usually have some time on Thursdays and Fridays, especially from lunch time and after.

@William Corcoran , thanks William. I have started listening to the Podcasts, and have also been reading books. I am looking to start with single family homes and/or 2-4 unit multi-family homes. I am fairly well funded and have excellent credit. I would probably start with something on the less expensive side to get my feet wet... Maybe in the $50k-$125k range for a single family... Mostly to get some hands-on with the management side. I have been an executive for 2 decades, so I am no stranger to managing or spreadsheets. I have some friends in the foreclosure business that I am hoping will give me a little insight. My intent is to look for foreclosures primarily, although I am certainly open to any deal that works. I live in Arlington near 20 and Little Rd. so if you are planning to be in the area I would absolutely love to grab lunch or coffee and get acquainted. Thanks so much for reaching out.

Jesse

@Todd Dotson Welcome. Would like to be on your buyers list for DFW. Would love to meet up, maybe coffee or lunch sometime. I live in Arlington near 20 and Little Rd. but would be glad to travel to meet up.

Hello. I have been an executive for about 20 years and am now looking to get into real estate investing as a way to generate retirement income. I am around 50 years old and most people consider me to be a guy that "gets things done". I have owned a few homes in my lifetime (as primary residence) and currently own my home outright. I am eager to learn as much as I can, as well as help others whenever I can.

I am looking forward to participating in this community.

This is my first post, so chances are I am going to post it in the wrong place, or it has been answered somewhere before, or I will break etiquette in some other way. Please just nudge me and I'll figure it out quickly, I promise.

I am preparing to get started in real estate investing (single and small multi-family rentals). I have the money to get started no problem, but I want to start working with a property manager right out of the gate.

So, I am looking for recommendations for GREAT PM's in the DFW area (I live in Arlington TX).

Thanks in advance.
