Hi, I’m wondering if I start investing. Let’s say wholesaling; when I take out a loan to pay, am I using my first time home buyers loan?

Can I buy a condo without using my first time home buyers loan?

The reason I'm asking is because I want to start REI but don't want to use my first time home buyers ability because I'm waiting for my annuity to get $100k in so I can put down on a house.

When I take out my annuity to buy a house they don’t charge me ANY fee to take out my annuity soon. And that would be a nice down payment on a house

@Amy Aziz

Honestly anything. I’m still trying to find a home to purchase for myself as well.. so that’s why I’m thinking wholesaling to start off.. anywhere where I don’t need too much money

I currently am a resident in Middletown NY apartment complex. Tired of paying rent. Like throwing out money. I’m also looking to buy a first house for myself but also on the fence “maybe I should wholesale or rent properties out and gain more money to put down on a house” but I’d like.

I’m considering wholesaling more out of all rei

@John Hickey

I live right in Middletown NY , was born in Brooklyn so that’s cool.. anyway

I seen quite a few Multifamily houses there.

The only this is for me, I won’t have cash to buy one. I would need to take out a loan. But taking out a loan comes with u have to live there for a year. I do not want to do that. I always hear how bad Newburgh is.

@Barry Pekin once you get the property you want and agree on the price, u get the paperwork and all that, how does the seller get the money? Is there a time frame I have to sell the house? I would be taking out a loan to wholesale

I know the basics on wholesaling and how to evaluate properties and where/how to find them.

The trouble that I’m having is once I find the property, now what?

Like how do I actually go about purchasing the property and selling the property?

Also I would be taking out a loan. Maybe rehab to put little easy work into it then sell to an investor. Win win for the both of us.

So if anyone could help and make a checklist in order of exactly what to do on HOW to buy and sell the property. Do I need a real estate agent? Or just a lawyer for the paperwork? How’s the title company work?

This would be greatly appreciated and change my life perhaps.

Best the luck to EVERYONE on BP!!
