Hey Community,

Is there anyone can recommend a good GC In Baltimore, MD?

Hey Stephen,

Thanks for your response. I have already closed on the property-it’s my property. However, I’m seeking guidance on since I got the down payment assistance from the city if they will randomly check to see if I occupied the property or it’s rent out within the first 7-12 months.

Hello community,

I want to thanks each and everyone on this platform for sharing their experiences and ideas.

So, I bought a house in Baltimore, MD.
I just closed on it three weeks ago and I’m asking for anyone out there with any good recommendations. So I bought this property and I will be start paying my mortgage on the first of May. I currently live an hour away from the property and my job is 30 mins away. If I should live at the property it would take me an hour to get to work and I don’t have a car. My wife and I decided that we would rent out the house but because we have received a grant for the down payment and closing costs from the city of Baltimore, we are wondering if it’s okay to rent out the property without any issues or they would check to see if we live at the property or we did a mortgage fraud by renting out the property for not living it for 7-12 months. My concern is that I’m looking for job close by the property but haven’t found any has yet and I’m the only person working right now so it would be hard on me if I leave my job and go to live there without a job. Please I need some advice. Thanks
