We use 3rd party property management. As an owner, one of our top goals is improving NOI. We chose this management company, in part, because their staff bonus structure was tied to achieving budgeted NOI. We do not pay directly for the Regional Managers so have no idea how their bonus is calculated. On the other hand, the property management company also gets a bonus for achieving NOI so I expect the entire company has bonuses tied to NOI.

The leasing consultants also get a bonus or commission for each lease-up.

I appreciate the quick response. Our current bonuses are currently tied to NOI. NOI is wildly critical to our success as a business. Do you know what type of structure is set up with the NOI bonus programs?

Do you know if they do a % of income divided over quarters? Do they do any year end bonuses for management team?

Are you aware of any of the specifics for leasing bonuses?

Hi All! I haven't posted here much but I am looking for to network with others in like minded roles and businesses.

I am the asset manager for a portfolio that owner operator of multifamily properties in Utah, Arizona and Nevada.

I'm looking to learn a bit more about bonus programs for your Ops teams. Regional Managers, Property Managers, Leasing team, maintenance supervisors and maintenance techs.

I know this is a somewhat loaded question and is multi faceted. Is this a good location to post something like this on BP?
