Hi all,

Has anyone used the services of a property marketing manager to increase bookings for a short-term/vacation rentals? What were the pros & cons of your experience? Which service providers would you recommend? Do you know of any companies who provide the service for mid-term rentals as well?

I was having a conversation with two other investors about this and was curious what the forum would say on the subject. I am personally looking for something that would support STR but I am curious to see if any providers could also handle this service for mid-terms.

I haven't seen anyone ask this as of yet. But coming from someone from Northern Ontario, I would recommend taking a peek at our markets, notably Sudbury and North Bay who seem to been having positive growth in population and employment. I'm currently based in Sudbury and have been shopping for my first deal here (tri or fourplex house hack) and although I've seen what I believe to be a few good deals most of them are in a not so favourable part of town at the moment. I'm only looking at MLS at the moment, however, and will start driving for dollars soon. I strongly recommend checking out the DurhamREI group if you are not aware of them. They hold monthly meetups and usually have a big attendance. I went for my first time in August and had an absolute blast. Don't be shy if you have any questions or comments for me would love to connect!

@Hai Loc I have seen these projects they are actually what inspired our concept as we would like to build something extremely long term with a good ROI not only for the project but the NFT holders as well.

@Neal Fridrich I’m not entirely sure how much I can divulge as of now, we are trying to get some opinions on the concept at the moment. We will be able to provide a proof of concept to our investors which I believe could help us get the necessary funding to create a larger scale operation. We’re currently taking in members in our Discord if you’d like to join shoot me a private message for more info!

Hi there, I am very new to the bigger pockets forum but I love the podcast and have read some BP books so I decided to come on here and check it out. I'm not entirely sure if there's a big or if there even is an audience for NFT/Crypto talk here but I wanted to come on in case some of you are like me and love real estate and the world of web3. I had this idea for an NFT project that would give its investors profit distribution from various real estate deals or cash flow. The idea is a little deeper than that, however, this is the main concept. I've talked to an attorney that also doubles as a real estate investor and he has led me to believe that this idea could actually work in the right circumstances. If anyone of you has a basic understanding of my idea I would love to hear your thoughts on this matter from another investor's, agent's, or attorney's standpoint I am still very curious. Thank you!
