I'm in Alabama. I have purchased 2 homes in the last 3 months. I'm in Calhoun County.  I'm a Newby so not sure how I did but I think I did pretty good. Time will tell I guess.

Thank you both for your answers. I am really nervous about all of it after reading so many horror stories.  At the same time,  I am excited to get it started, just want to make sure I do it in the smartest way possible.

I'm a brand new investor in Alabama. I have purchased 2 homes to rent out and almost all the work on these houses are complete. My question is what company is a good one to run the credit/criminal check with?  I just want to start out stromg with good tenants.
