Atlanta. I just realized my profile says New Jersey. I'm not sure how they got that. My husband moves a lot for his job and the last place we were was New Jersey. Our home base and where we own is Atlanta.

My name is Jennifer and I'm from the south side of Atlanta.  I'm brand new to real estate and I'm in the phase of taking in as much information as I can.  Right now, I stay at home with my 4 young kids and I'm looking to create a job for myself through real estate investing.  My husband and I have amassed a fairly significant amount of cash and we're interested in starting with 2 single family homes or small multifamily properties and within the next 2 years, turning our current residence into a rental.  In an ideal world, our properties would snowball from there.  I have no history in real estate besides learning some of the business from my parents.  I'm looking forward to soaking in as much info as I can from the forums!
