Hey Jennifer! Love that you're looking into BRRRRs, thats becoming more common and I can see why.

Are you looking at particular areas besides Houston? Just wondering as I'm based in Austin and Texas has many great markets!

Hi Savannah! Currently, I'm only looking between Houston and Galveston. I'm still working full time and I'm not comfortable doing a flip so far away yet. But eventually I will! I love Austin. It's so beautiful there!

Your enthusiasm and clear goals are commendable. Wholesaling is a smart move to build connections, generate cash, and learn the market. Houston offers ample opportunities for BRRRR and other investment strategies. Seeking a mentor can speed up learning and reduce mistakes. Joining local real estate investor meetups, networking, and attending REIAs can help. Mastering negotiation and structure is crucial.

Good luck!

This is great! Thanks so much Wale!

Quote from @River Sava:

Hey Jenny, welcome!

Sounds like you're off to a great start. Wholesaling is a solid way to dive in, especially while you build out your team and explore other strategies like BRRRR, flips, and MF. Best of luck as you get started, and happy to connect with you!

Thank you River! Yes, I’d love to connect for sure!

Hi Everyone!

My name is Jennifer but you guys can call me Jenny. I am in the Houston area and while I'm not new to real estate in general, I am brand new to investing. I'm currently soaking up all of the knowledge I can and I'd love to make connections!

I have big future goals like most of you, but I'm interesting in starting off as a wholesaler while I build my team for other strategies. Outside of wholesaling, I'd like to explore BRRR, Fix-n-Flips, and eventually Multifamily properties.

I would love to work with an experienced wholesaler so please reach out if you are interested in being a mentor!

Good luck to all of you. Cheers!
