Hi Ty,
It is coming back up. Which is why I want to get into this now. :) I think it's competitive in every major city. The redemption clause has slowed down the foreclosures as well. But I have found a lot of good leads so far.

My name is Jennifer. I am trying to get back into Real Estate. I was a Realtor here years ago. I don't plan on getting licensed again , but maybe. I have been bartending for the last 8 years in Charleston and for a year here in Portland. I am working w some people birddogging I guess you could call it. I would like to work with investors, so I am here to learn what I can and meet new people. I am currently starting a new real estate related business as well. I'd love to check out some local network meetings if there are any upcoming events let me know. Other than that, I just wanted to introduce myself.

Hi Sam,

I moved back to Portland almost 2 years ago from Charleston. I miss it a lot. Just joined Bigger Pockets tonight. My son is still their. Funny last time we spoke he mentioned buying an apt. as a rental. He is on James Island. Good luck with your ventures Sam.
