I haven't been to Than's thing but I know of one investor who went and got a lot out of it and is doing really well now. I'd say just hang out here, listen to podcasts, and ask questions. You'll learn more than any 3 day conference and it'll all be free!

Hey Thomas! So nice to hear your story, and it sounds somewhat similar to mine. My husband and I have a triplex in the north side under contract and this will be our first true investment. We have done one live in flip and are currently in our second now. I'm 29, and hubby is 31 too and assistant hvac manager at a local mechanical company. I recently got my realtor license so I can help you looking for your first property if your interested. Hope to catch up with you sometime and wish you all the luck in the future!

aw man, being an agent isn't for everyone and depending on the strategy you use. But I love having access to the mls for quick comps, checking home values that sold, and getting an ARV. I also like being able to open my own doors so to speak, and not having to wait or cordinate with a realtor. If your doing mostly off market deals from wholesalers or direct marketing, you may not use it as much. But for me it has been invaluable so far for only a small investment and recurring fees.

One south realty is a pretty investor friendly company. I just got my license and was going to hang it there, but instead I know a broker who has his own realty company and property management. I'm his only employee. I was looking for the same thing. No sales meeting or quotas to meet. Hope this helps.
