Just a quick question; I received a voicemail in response to a yellow letter I mailed out (inheritance). I did a little research on the property address and saw that it's listed. Question is, do I go straight to the listing agent with my offer or call the seller back first?

Ok. So, I'd just need to fill out a purchase agreement, to be emailed, the same as I would if I were meeting with the seller at the home? @jscott

I spoke with a potential seller today. He was calling on behalf of his sister who wants to sell her house bc her husband has recently passed. He didn't sound all that motivated to me, but she could be, so I wanted to send him an offer and see if we could move forward from there. I want to send an offer, not a purchase agreement. Any idea where I can get a form like that from or what info I need to include? I would imagine this would be a simple one, maybe two page sheet.....

Hey, congrats @Nick Wright ! That's awesome.

I only sent 30 letters out this past Monday. Got one phone call. My voicemail says "if you're interested in selling your home..." (leave a lil info); they didn't leave a message so my first thought was that they must not want to sell their house. I called back anyway and didn't get an answer. I didn't leave a message but I guess I should have. Putting some more letters in the mail in the morning and expecting a great deal really soon. (Law of attraction)

Looks like I'll be mailing letters today! There is definitely no money to be made from letters sitting on my desk. Thx for the insight everyone.

I was planning on sending out yellow letters tomorrow (inheritance list) but I wondered if this would be a bad idea for this week considering Thanksgiving is a couple days away.

Would you mail or wait?
