Greetings all, I'm a new agent here in Orlando, FL. New as in I earned my real estate license last Tuesday (May 3rd) and I signed with Keller Williams in downtown Orlando on Friday (May 6th). I just wanted to ask if there were any MeetUps, if you will, in the Orlando area where agents meet up and talk about real estate. If so, let me know. Thank you all for your time.

Welcome @Bruce Powers, I too am new to REI. I've joined a local REIA here in Orlando, Central Florida Realty Investors Association, and have learned a lot in my short time of being involved with the organization. It might be helpful to check out the group, I'm sure many can lend you a helping hand on generating leads.

My name is Jelani and I currently work full time as a software engineer in the downtown Orlando area. I presume like many have done before me I began to think about different ways to accumulate wealth after reading Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad Poor Dad book. I've gone to a Rich Dad seminar where the subjects of investing and real estate were the two main topics. My appetite for learning and understanding investing and real estate has been whet since that time. It no longer seems to be a far fetched thought to me that I could get into the business of real estate. I've already signed up to attend my local REIA tomorrow to get acquainted with those who are already further along than I. So I am here to be a sponge to learn as much as I can and then more importantly take action and learn along the way.
