Post: Do I need to use the same insurance as my primary residence?

Hi everyone, I’ve been bundling my home/auto with my rental properties but it makes shopping for new rates cumbersome and it’s been getting more expensive each year.

Do you have a separate company for rental properties? It seems like most major insurance companies requires you to have your primary residence insured with them in order to insured rental properties.

Hi everyone, 

I'm just starting out and preparing to rent out my first SFH. What do you do about lawn maintenance with your property? Is it implied that the renter cuts it or does have have to be explicit in the lease?
