Long story short about me looking to purchase buy and hold properties in Indiana area. Ran credit, by lender, everything was good approved for 160k. Great right. Unfortunately not.. during the 2008 dump I filed chapter 13, foreclosed on the house I was in and it set for 3 years open. Long story short 13 was discharged back in 14, but Sheriff sale didnt happen until 2017. For those of you who dont know.. FHA requires min of 3 years after property has been transferred into someone else name. Long story short this totally changes my plans for the next year unless I can come up with another method. I know there are several post etc about financing etc.. However I am looking for I guess some suggestions from other pros who might have had this issue or can offer some solutions to my situation.
