Post: Fresno multi unit cashflow

Hello,

I'm currently invested in Bakersfield. Considering investing into Fresno as well if the money is right. I'm looking online at some 5-unit properties available, it appears that they should cash flow ok based on the info available.

Anything I should look out for in Fresno area? They are located just below the 180/168 interchange.

I'm quite early in my search. Currently all i've done is just look at online listings, I haven't reached out to any realtors or property management out there yet.

Thanks.

@Christopher H. thank you for the response. I just spoke with my realtor and it looks like the HOA fee wasn't properly recorded in the listing so it doesn't look like this particular place i'm looking at will work out.

Hello,

I currently own a 4-unit multifamily in East Bakersfield which is doing well for cash flow. I am looking into expanding and possibly purchasing a single unit condominium West of the 99 fwy. I am considering this because of lower cost of entry and possibly being able to cash flow ~$500/month on a 80k condo, 20% down.

Does anyone have tips or suggestions whether going this route is a good/bad approach?

Hello,

I currently have a fourplex property generating OK income in Bakersfield, CA. I am currently living in Southern California. I originally went with Bakersfield because it was quite close to me but have realized I don't necessarily need to be nearby.

I am interested in getting another income generating property out of state and looking around at listings in Arizona. I have a budget of 300k sale price, and would prefer to avoid really bad areas that attract undesireable tenants. But i'm not familiar with the area.

Does anyone have tips and suggestions on getting into the Arizona market, or would suggest I look elsewhere? Thank you for the help!

Hello,

I am first time investor and looking to buy multi-family 2-3 unit property in Bakersfield. Looking for any tips for how the rental market is in Bakersfield, is demand for rental holding steady or if its in a decline. Is it generally better to own multi family on east vs west? I ask this because I have heard from one family member, who lives there, that rental demand is declining and oil business is slowing down. I'm uncertain to how much truth this is.

I'm hoping to get something in an area where there will be renter demand and turnover won't be too frequent of difficult.

Thank you for any insight and help!
