Hello everyone. I'm retiring from the military in June. I have a job interview in Bellevue. Question: realistically, what towns or zip codes can i look in around Bellevue that would be in commuting distance (30-45 minutes ok)? This would be my personal residence. Price range is around $150-225k. Would prefer single family, detached, but would consider condo also. Not scared of minor fixing. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated! Jeff

Hi Chad, i'd be interested to know a little more about the properties: part of FW they are in, asking price, layouts, etc. i'm from FW (currently in the Army however) so i'm interested to know how they will cash flow.

If it's a month to month lease, you don't need a reason, just give him the 30 day notice. Hell, give em 60 days to look more fair. But once you give him the notice, be prepared, he's done paying rent.

Keep the job. Plow your money into paying down the loans on the rentals, saving a huge emergency fund and a down payment on the next rental!

BB gun, lawn chair, case of beer, high beam flashlight, long nights...repeat until problem fixed!

Use FHA loan to buy a personal home cheap. Fix it while you live there. Repeat every year or so. Keep a full time job!!!
