Good morning everyone!

Went to look at the property last night.  Whew!  It's in really rough shape.  Mold all through the basement.  It's a split level and the basement floor looks as if someone just put a thin coat of concrete over the old dirt floor.  It was REALLY uneven and super wet in spots.  The upstairs had not been changed since it was built in the forties.  Needed a whole new kitchen, two full bathrooms re-done and a roof and siding.  Foundation issues and more.  Truly don't know if its worth fixing or flattening.  So much work and so much money.  Thank you all for your input and help.  It's a pleasure being part of this community and I look forward to talking with you all again sometime.  God Bless.

Ok.  Sorry for the confusion on the property.  The default location was Pittsburgh, it's actually eighty miles north in Hermitage, PA. Sorry for that.  The house was built in 1947 and it needs work.  I'm looking for my first investment property and I'm going to look at it tonight. Not sure if its wise to start out with something to fix and flip or rent.  All of this can be quite confusing at first. Thank you for the input.  It is greatly appreciated. As far as work is concerned, it would be my sweat equity and I'm thinking six months of time and around 25,000.00 of repairs.  Thanks again.  God bless.

Can someone tell me if this is a deal worth purchasing? It is a foreclosure.  Thank you very much!
