Nice job Jose.  What part of Denver did you find this property?

  • Hi Everyone,  Fairly new investor in Lakewood.  I'm interested in learning more about Pueblo as an investment area, as I know very little about it. I'm looking to branch out of the Denver metro area, but hopefully stay within driving distance of my home. From reading other posts, it seems like a good place to consider for buy and hold, multifamily, and possibly flips. Especially in Colorado.
  • I'd love to connect with people investing down there for general info about the area in regards to RE Investing

Thanks in advance

Jeff

Hey Everyone.  My name is Jeff Neill from Golden, CO and I’m super excited to be here.  I can’t wait to learn how to implement a plan to buy and rent properties.  I’m really interested in multi-family properties and vacation homes.  My ultimate plan is to create enough wealth/income so my wife and I can both quit our healthcare jobs (Me: MRI Tech, Her: RN), and do real estate full time.  Secondarily, I’d like to be in a position to be able to give my daughters something of value (property)as they start their adult lives.

I have a little experience with rentals, but it wasn’t a positive experience for me and my family.  I bought some properties right before the crash (2006, 2008) and crash it did.  BK, foreclosure, short sale.  It sucked.  I didn’t know much about Real Estate other than just the buying part.  I had no plan, no real resources, except friends who were flailing as well.

The good new is that the world didn't end. We recouped. I was able to buy a home again. But now I want to learn how to DO IT RIGHT. I recently moved my Mortgage into a HELOC in the first position and am on track to pay my house off in 5 years.

You could say I’m a little gun shy to make the leap, but I’m itching to get back in the game.

I’m looking forward to being part of this community.

Regards

Jeff
