@Tony Marcelle Private lenders are more likely to help people that they know well. New investors should reach out into their personal network and let people know what their goals are.

@Michael Gambrell Sounds like a great idea! You'll be meeting with people talking about properties, and learning about why they are buying/selling. Along the way I'm sure you'll be making connections, and may find yourself in a situation where you can leads on great deals.
